about jade

I come to this work from background in writing, with a BA in Creative Writing and qualifications in filmmaking and narrative theory.
My passions had time to steep and interweave, and I rediscovered the ancient continuum of energy between creative arts and healing arts. Interdisciplinary integration is not an innovation, but a deep remembering…
What is being born? What is dying?

As I lived with my own complex trauma and grief, I found myself navigating a recovery process that surprised me at every turn.
From that place of sacred desperation I was awed to discover…
Healing is real.
Driven by a desire to live more fully into what I was experiencing, I pursued post-graduate studies in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I’m drawn to work with seekers, dreamers, artists and those longing to look at the world through their poet’s eye. I’m interested in our non-conformity, how we fit into a lineage of resistance, how by our being-ness we support collective liberation.

As a PACFA Reg. Practising member I engage in consistent supervision and professional development. I’m dedicated to showing up fully in practice and holding space with professionalism and true care.

Flowing in the river

Flowing in the river *

Sometimes the work might be be soft, the river quiet and deep with high banks - when there’s trouble in the heart. We are welcomed home to the Mothering field.

I will hold this space as your safety returns, breath by breath. I cannot help but love all of you. Wash your heart with clean tears.

Sometimes the work might be curious, directional, alive with a slow fire. The river speeds up, tumbling over rocks. The Midwife.

This will be hard work, and it will take its own time. I can support you to find the right positions, as you birth the New. I kneel at your back so you do not labour alone.

Sometimes the work might be crackling with power. The river joins the sea. The Mage.

We both see what is illuminated in the lighting strike. I am the Witness to the Initiate meeting a point of destiny.

Our collective Love Power is brightened. We are helping to birth the new consciousness.

The river is indicated. The river is all flowing.

What is Phenomenology?

Phenomenology is a philosophical approach that seeks to explore the essence of human experience
as we meet it, without preconceived interpretations.

Originating in the west with the philosopher Edmund Husserl, but reaching into deep time in Indigenous systems of epistemology, phenomenology invites us to "look at what we would usually look through" by focusing on lived experience.

We are invited into a way of direct-living.
